Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@willowbrookmh.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Contacting us is easy! You can fill out the Contact Us form, or call/text us at (308) 252-3179.

We offer a couple different options to help determine which provider will likely be the best fit for you:

  1. You can check out our bios at any time and contact us with your preferred provider(s).
  2. You may fill out our Contact Form and we will follow-up to determine the best fit based on your preferences.

Yes, our providers are in-network with most major insurance companies.

If we are out-of-network with your insurance carrier, we will provide you a Superbill (a fancy name for an invoice) monthly so that you can submit it to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you for services.

We also offer a sliding scale fee for those who need financial assistance. Please contact us directly to discuss sliding scale availability.

You can also pay for services with your HSA card.

Initial visits are approximately 60 minutes long. During this visit, your provider will spend time gathering your history to help identify how to best meet your needs. We find initial visits to be the most productive when clients come prepared with the following information:

  • Significant events that have contributed to any current issue(s) that bring you to see us
  • Feelings, thoughts and/or behaviors surrounding the issue(s)
  • Possible goals or what you hope to achieve by coming to therapy

Initial visits for both therapy and medication management are 60 minutes.  Therapy follow-up visits are typically 45-55 minutes in length.

We find that counseling is most effective when we start with weekly meetings. This continuity helps us move towards your goals more quickly. Others find that monthly consultations or counseling as needed works best after completing an initial course of weekly counseling. We will always work with you to determine whether the frequency of our meetings is working well for you.

Length of treatment depends on the presenting issue(s) and goals of treatment. Brief treatment might be as short as three to five sessions, while longer term therapy might last as long as a few years. You and your provider will collaborate to determine the length of treatment that feels comfortable and is clinically appropriate.
